Are you ready to blastoff? With the Blastoff Network Internet users can customize a portal to access news, games, social networks and shopping all in one place. It’s not a new idea, as it is similar to iGoogle, but what’s different is the affiliate program and partnership with PrePaid Legal.
The idea, like with many MLMs and affiliates, is that you build a network of friends, you then all shop together in Blastoff’s network of online stores and receive commissions on yours and your friends’ purchases. Before visions of riches start dancing in your head, keep in mind you are going to need a big downline to make any serious dough. Blastoff also partnered with PrePaid Legal to give its associates early access (and extended genealogies), getting in return a group that was tailored made to do some serious buzz marketing.
And marketing they are. MLMs, just like their salesman cousins, thrive on excitement and hype to drive recruitment. I’ve seen some “Wow” emails circulating around, sadly with some bogus unsubscribe links. Hopefully these folks are not intentionally spamming.
So is it worth the hype? Some might enjoy the custom page you can build with the network. You can set it up to connect to your facebook account (the video mentions twitter as well but that seems to not be there yet), add news feeds, games, and media sites such as hulu all with selectable themes as backdrops. Since I’m not a heavy user of portals or aggregators, I turned to a millennial (early 20s) to get an opinion of it. His take? “…very clunky and unusable. Sure you could spend hours getting it just the way you like it, but it should be user friendly right off the bat. The sites different ‘hip’ colors hurts the brain and at first glance you have no idea what the site is about.” Harsh words.
I agreed with him about the non intuitive user experience with customizing the site. On the FAQ, it advised using Firefox 3.5 for the best experience. I had some problems with Firefox 3.0, but it did better with Internet Explorer 7. And I simply could not figure out how to get rid of the ESPN widget (sorry I’m just not into spectator sports). You also are limited in the sites you can add. It’s not like you can drop any feed into your page. Let’s hope the experience is improved in the future.
The shopping picture looks a bit brighter. Blastoff does have some promising looking deals on “wireless” and “home services” that might be of interest. There are some prominent names in the mall section. Of course you can find deals independently, but it is convenient to have them gathered up for you. I’ve purchased one product from the network. Looking around, I did find cheaper deals for the same thing, but when I purchased through blastoff, I got a coupon auto filled in for a 10% discount making it competitive.
Since it is completely free to join, Blastoff will cost you nothing to check out. And if you invite enough friends that like to shop, those pennies might add up .. for you as well as for me.

Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki are concerned that the rich are getting richer but the poor are getting poorer. Donald and Robert want you to be rich and that is why they co-author the book: Why We Want You To Be Rich.
Donald Trump said: “Internet marketing has proven itself to be a viable and rewarding source of income, and the challenges could be just right for you. There have been some remarkable examples of success, and those successes have been earned through diligence, enthusiasm and the right product combined with timing. As with so many issues, there are tangibles and intangibles involved, but success is not a total mystery, and that applies to network marketing, as well.”
Robert Kiyosaki said: “Building a B-quadrant business is not an easy task. So you need to ask yourself, “Do I have what it takes? Am I willing to go beyond my comfort zones? Am I willing to be led and willing to learn to lead? Is there a very rich person inside me, ready to come out?” If the answer is yes, start looking for a network marketing business that has a great training program – one that emphasizes education and personal growth.”
I have read many books of Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump and have benefitted from Robert Kiyosaki ’s business seminars, I was fortunate to attend a few seminars conducted by him and he has helped me made lots of money!
I also learned a lot from Donald Trump by watching his popular program: The Apprentice.
It is very obvious that Robert and Donald agree and recognize the power of network marketing to transform people ’s lives and make a positive difference to millions of people worldwide!
Robert Kiyosaki also wrote a Internet marketing best-selling book: The Business School for People Who Like Helping People. In his book he said: “Many network marketing companies are really business schools that teach values not found in traditional business schools…values such as the best way to become rich is to teach yourself and other people to become business owners, rather than teach them to be a loyal employee working for the rich.”
For anyone who is interested in network marketing, I highly recommend you read “Why We Want You To Be Rich” and, of course, Robert Kiyosaki ’s network marketing best-seller: “The Business School for People Who Like Helping People.”
Network marketing has created millions of millionaires and it is truly a proven and tested system for ordinary people to earn an extraordinary income! Having said that, over 97% of people in the home-based businesses or network marketing are happy to earn $300 to $1,000 or more a month and less than 3% are really serious about earning income from $3,000 to $10,000 or more a month! That is the reality of the business and I speak from over 14 years of network marketing experience.
I have also written a song: “Why Internet marketing?” which you can watch and listen on youtube and it has over 5.800 viewing! If you are tired of working hard in a job and getting nowhere, I highly recommend you give yourself a chance by looking into a network marketing opportunity because you only have one life and you want to make the best of it!
For things to change, first you must change. Albert Einstein defined the definition of insanity as doing the same thing and expecting a different result! You must have the courage to make a positive change to your life. There is a popular Chinese saying: “I rather live one day as a tiger than hundred years as a sheep!” It takes courage to take action towards living your dream!
Take responsibility for your results in life and take action to make a better life for yourself and your loved ones.

- Don’t be tempted to hit prospects with a sales pitch first up. For some reason, they want to shove a network marketing comapny down the throats of their prospects and tell them how life changing the products are.
- Ask yourself this…what attracted you into your current home based business? People will eventually join you and not your company because it’s you they develop a relationship with and learn to trust. The company is simply the vehicle to take you both forward to your ultimate goals.
- When a prospect first responds to your marketing message you need to start selling yourself immediately. It’s time to prove to them that you are the right person for the job. And make no mistake, you are under scrutiny. It’s like going for a job interview and in actual fact, it’s not the prospect being scrutinized it’s you.
- You are being analyzed without realizing it. If you can demonstrate to your prospect you’re the right candidate then they will come back to you for more information. And giving value from the start is what counts.
- Training starts from the first contact. Give them advice on how to succeed in home based business. Point them to resources they can check out. Send them resources they can view, read or listen to. Consider them part of your team the moment they contact you and train them as if they were.

If you are looking for business builders in your company, you will gain knowledge of what someone types into Google (or another search engine) when they are looking for a particular business.
They might be looking for “mlm energy drinks” or maybe a “dog food business”.
You are going to save a lot of time and money by doing market research, so that you can eliminate stuff that will never work.
You may even find that the industry you’re with now, is not suited to study within the market that interests you, and find a profitable market where you greatly want to work. Some of the tools you can use on the internet make it really fast and simple to do your study.
Attract people to your Internet Sites
If there is no traffic coming to your site, it doesn’t matter if you have the best product or opportunity available , you’re not going to sell anything. Traffic is the most crucial part in the process, so long as it’s done after the research.
